Novell (SuSE) just annouced SuSE 9.1 Novell Releases First Commercial Linux Featuring 2.6 Kernel.

Only, it’s not available until May 6th. ??.

Ahh semantics. Maybe this is the subtle difference between “for immediate release” and “for release”: “for immediate release” means “it’s important! now!” and “for release” means…”we can say whatever we like to bring attention to ourselves and not really say anything too specific”.

Only 59 days to go. How many more “releases” will there be about SuSE 9.1 before May 6th? - I put a list on my side bar.
